Gravas del Maipo

Gravas del Maipo represents Concha y Toro’s tribute to the majestic Andes Mountains and the extraordinary soils and climatic conditions which make high-caliber grape growing and wine production possible. Winemaker Enrique Tirado conducted a rigorous search throughout Chile to find the ideal terroir to faithfully express the finesse and elegance of an icon Syrah. His search led him to unearth the gravel subsoil hidden beneath the alluvial loam of the ancient river terraces of the Maipo Basin – the gravas del Maipo.
