Ignacio Izcúe Elgart – Export Director, Trivento
Following his secondary education at The Heights School in Maryland, USA, he returned to Chile and entered the Economics and Business Administration Faculty of the Universidad de los Andes, to study commercial engineering. Ignacio joined Concha y Toro in 2001 as Brand Manager Varietal Wines, followed by Head of Marketing Fine and Varietal Wines, Assistant Manager, National On-Trade and New Channels Sales, Assistant Manager, National Traditional Sales Channel, and in January 2009, he assumed the position of Export Director for Europe, Canada and Africa of Viña Maipo. In 2012 he became Export Director, Winery Subsidiaries (Fetzer, Trivento and Viña Maipo) (UK, Mexico, USA, the Nordics and Brazil).
Mónica Caamaño – Marketing Director
Mónica Caamaño grew up in Mendoza, Argentina, studied industrial engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, and later received her Master’s Degree in Engineering Sciences with a specialization in marketing. Mónica joined Trivento Winery in 2000 as Marketing Director, developing a multi-disciplinary team that looks after the brand, its markets, communications, institutional relations and tourism.
Silvina Barros – Marketing Manager, Trivento
Silvina Barros, is an articulate and engaging ambassador for this top-rated wine producer. Much of Silvina’s time is dedicated to traveling around the U.S., implementing educational programs for Trivento wholesalers, as well as key on-premise and off-premise accounts. Her presentations focus on Trivento’s portfolio of fine varietal wines from Argentina’s Mendoza region, in addition to promoting her native Argentina as one of the world’s leading wine producers. Silvina began her career in Trivento in 2002, starting in the marketing department. She swiftly became involved in helping develop Trivento’s growing array of overseas markets, necessitating frequent trips to Europe. Each harvest Silvina participates with Trivento’s winemaking team in the final selection of wine blends that will go into the finished product. Silvina plays an integral role in the development of the wines she represents.
Roberto Catalani – Market Coordinator, Foreign Offices
Roberto was born in Mendoza, Argentina, and received his Masters of Business Administration from the Universidad del Aconcagua. He began working at the Concha y Toro Group in 2010 as Trivento Brand Manager. He then became the Coordinator of UK and Scandinavian Markets. His passion, skill and dedication were key to him being named Market Coordinator of Distribution offices in 2012.
Victoria Prandina – Winemaker, Trivento Eolo
Victoria was born in Rivadiva, a small town outside of Mendoza, Argentina. She received her Master Degree in Winemaking and Food Sciences from Facultad Don Bosco, and holds a Postgraduate Degree in the Quality Planning and Management from Vineyard to Wine. She joined the winery in 2006 as an assistant on varietal wines and quickly moved up to become Assistant Winemaker for Super-Premium and Ultra-Premium wines. Today she oversees the production of the winery’s icon wine, Trivento Eolo.
Germán Di Cesare – Winemaker, Trivento Golden Reserve & Amado Sur
Germán was born in Mendoza, Argentina and studied Oenology at Liceo Agricola Enológica Domingo Faustino Sarmiento and went onto Juan Agustin Maza University to receive his Master’s Degree. Germán joined Trivento in 2002 and has held several positions at the winery from barrel room manager, laboratory analyst, and winemaker. In 2008, he began overseeing production of Trivento’s high-end wines.
Maximiliano Ortíz – Winemaker, Trivento Reserve
Maximiliano was born in Mendoza, Argentina and studied Oenology at University Facultad Don Bosco de Enología y Ciencias de la Alimentación. He joined the Trivento team in 2006. He began as a quality control manager of grapes and currently he oversees premium wines during their oak barrel aging. The first wine he crafted was Trivento Reserve Malbec 2008 and dedicated it to his parents for their silver wedding anniversary.
